The BabyHawk Mei Tai is one of the highest rated Mei Tais on the market today. You may have seen it recently featured in both Pregnancy and Mothering magazines.

When we heard this, we put our real life mom and baby team to the test. We tried the BabyHawk against various other Asian inspired carriers, and we have to agree--the BabyHawk is extremely comfortable for mom and baby--at any age and stage!

The best features are its lightly padded straps and head rest.

Padded straps help to cushion and distribute weight comfortably without adding too much bulk.

The headrest is perfect for smaller babies since it provides a little structure at the top and allows baby to settle snugly down in the pouch. And for taller/longer/older babies (who often end up spilling out over the top in other Mei Tais) the headrest provides the support necessary for their bobbing heads and shoulders.

And if you don’t need the headrest, no problem, it simply folds down inside the carrier to allow baby more visibility and range of motion (especially as they get older).
